Applications Scientist, Germany

Job summary:

To provide Technical Support activities for the HTRF German biotech, pharmaceutical, CRO and academic customer base. Work closely with the two Germans Accounts Managers to develop and close sales of HTRF reagent and custom service opportunities. Extensive travel domestically and, internationally e.g. to Cisbio-France Head Office for regular training and attendance at industry related meetings.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• To provide pre and post Sales Technical Support for HTRF reagents and Custom Services. • Work closely with HTRF UK Accounts Managers to ensure successful execution of HTRF technology for customers. Able to understand the HTRF portfolio and advise products in front of customers. • Provide primary source of market/customer intelligence to assist business development strategy and to maximise company competitiveness and success. Communicate current and evolving customer needs to assist Research and Development strategy. • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to communicate effectively and succinctly both verbally and in writing. • Identify promotional and other marketing support needs. Contribute to Marketing Plan development. • Support trade show promotion by attendance at Drug Discovery industry related meetings. • Provide lab-based expertise at co-marketing events with local partners, like plate readers manufacturer, or antibodies providers • Maintain and update CRM.

Key Competencies:

• MSc or PhD in Life Sciences, ideally in Immunology, Pharmacology or Biochemistry. • 2-5 years’ experience laboratory experience of working with HTRF or TR-FRET reagents gained from biotech, pharma or academic Drug Discovery organization. • Ideally, previous experience of providing reagents Technical Support or Experience in Pharma/biotechs in drug discovery

Working Conditions:

• Located in Germany. • Capacity to travel 70% in Germany, Austria and across the EU.

Accounts Manager, UK (except Eastern England)

Job summary:

Be responsible for the overall HTRF business activities of Cisbio in the UK market (outside of Eastern England area). In particular, develop, identify, qualify and close sales opportunities in the UK market (pharmaceutical, biotech and academic labs) for HTRF reagents, custom services and related products. Create and manage sales and local Marketing initiatives, incorporating current and evolving customer requirements. Extensive travel domestically and, upon occasion, internationally e.g. to Cisbio-France Head Office and attendance at industry related meetings.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist achievement of UK top and bottom line objectives for the HTRF product line and custom services. Identify, qualify and close sales opportunities in the UK biotech, pharmaceutical, CRO and academic customer base. • Develop and close new business as well as maintaining the existing accounts. • Work closely with HTRF Applications Scientist to ensure successful execution of HTRF technology for customers. • Provide primary source of market/customer intelligence to assist business development strategy and to maximise company competitiveness and success. Communicate current and evolving customer needs to assist Research and Development strategy. • Prepare and implement sales forecasts in association with Cisbio management to maximise product lines sales and business development. • Identify promotional and other marketing support needs. Contribute to Marketing Plan development. • Support trade show promotion by attendance at Drug Discovery industry related meetings. • Organise co-marketing events with local Plate Reader manufacturers e.g. Joint Workshops • Maintain and update CRM.

Key Competencies:

• Good knowledge of Immunology reagent market, e.g. ELISAs and HTRF. • 2-5 Years experience of selling Drug Discovery reagents. • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to communicate effectively and succinctly both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications:

• MSc or PhD in Life Sciences, ideally in Immunology, Pharmacology or Biochemistry.

Working Conditions:

• Located in Oxford or South/SW/W London, home based • Capacity to travel 70% in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland
