Account Manager

Job summary:

Job Brief:

We are looking for a passionate Account Manager who will partner with our customers and ensure their long-term success. This position covers the Route 128 Belt-West in MA (60%), Illinois (20% mainly Abbvie, Chicago) and Indiana (20% mainly Eli Lilly in Indianapolis).  The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of clients within a given geography, develop new business from existing clients and hunt new accounts and business opportunities.  They will be responsible for developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and preparing sales reports.  They will also liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams, ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions and improve the entire customer experience.  The ideal candidate will be able to identify customer needs and exceed client expectations. To provide our clients with the best solution, the Account Manager should have prior experience selling immunoassay kits, reagents and custom services to Drug Discovery Scientists.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Identify, qualify and close HTRF sales opportunities in Biotech and Pharmaceutical accounts in assigned region. Develop new business from existing clients and hunt new accounts for business opportunities.  Understand process drivers and decision points within Therapeutic areas and Screening Laboratories.  Ensure successful adoption of HTRF technology for customers and ensure timely, successful delivery of our solutions according to identified customer needs. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. 

·         Work with a dedicated Scientific Consultant (FAS) to manage technical opportunities and develop action plans to ensure successful product adoption.  Grow custom services business.

·         Prepare reports on account metrics and account status.  Communicate current and evolving customer needs and trends to assist the company research and development strategy through monthly reporting. Provide customer intelligence to assist business development and to maximize company competitiveness and success. 

·         Utilize and maintain CRM database for client and account info, meeting summaries, strategic planning and quoting.

Key Competencies:

·         Proven experience (2+ year) as an Account Manager.

·         Demonstrated understanding of Drug Discovery workflows especially as related to Assay Development, Screening and Lead Optimization techniques.

·         Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence individuals at all level of the organization.

·         Proven ability to manage multiple projects at one time while paying close attention to detail

·         Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         BS in Biology, Biotechnology or Life Sciences.

Scientific Consultant - San Francisco, CA

Job summary:

We are looking for a field-based, passionate, Scientific Consultant who will partner with our Account Managers and customers to ensure their long-term technical success. The Scientific Consultant will ensure successful adoption and application of HTRF technologies, provide field based technical support through demonstrating HTRF products in the customer’s lab, present on-site HTRF seminars, perform on-site trouble shooting of HTRF assays, and work together with account managers on technical sales calls within a given geography.  Working together, they will help develop new business from existing clients and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts.  They will also liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams, ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions and optimize the entire customer experience.  The ideal candidate will be able to identify customer needs and exceed client expectations. To provide our clients with the best solution, the Scientific Consultant should have prior experience with Drug Discovery/screening platforms, experience in assay development or high throughput screening and the ability to work on a variety of lab equipment.  

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site technical support to customers, helping them implement HTRF technology, migrate assays to HTS, troubleshoot HTRF assays & associated biology.
  • Provide technical support and training by phone and e-mail to customers for all HTRF products.
  • Provide technical expertise to support business development initiatives, including accompanying Account Managers to prospective customer accounts and providing technical presentations and demonstrations of HTRF technology.
  • Act as key liaison with Cisbio international Research and Development to support customer use and development of HTRF technologies.
  • Generate and maintain demonstration reports to provide a record of technical development work on behalf of customers.
  • Proactively share client needs and target based information within the organization by updating our CRM.
  • Participate in Marketing activities, trade shows, technical webinars, regional shows and quarterly product feedback forms.
  • Research and help qualify work plans for custom assay service proposals.

Key Competencies:

·         Experience in customer support and training.

·         Knowledge of theoretical and applied HTRF technology: Hands-on experience with HTRF and/or competitive assay platforms is a plus.

·         Strong experience in experimental design, assay development/optimization, and HTS technologies.

·         Strong assay development knowledge in both biochemical and cell based assays, and key drug target class biology.

·         Ability to think outside the box, to troubleshoot independently, and to get creative in assay approaches.

·         Timely data analysis and reporting.

·         Strong interpersonal and dynamic presentation skills.

·         Minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences or similar. Masters or Ph. D preferred

·         5+ years’ experience in Assay Development or High Throughput Screening.

·         CRM Experience is a plus.

·         Must have knowledge of fluorescent plate readers and their operation.

·         Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Prism, and data analysis software

·         Demonstrate exceptional initiative and drive.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

> Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les responsables de comptes européens et les consultants pour assurer des développements HTRF® satisfaisants pour les clients :

• Aider à promouvoir l’activité de développement d’essai sur le terrain.

• Etre capable d’évaluer le travail de laboratoire et établir les devis en accord avec les représentants des ventes.

• Communiquer régulièrement avec eux pour leur donner l’état d’avancement de chaque essai.

• Mettre à jour la CRM

> Comprendre les besoins du client pour développer un essai HTRF® approprié :

• Evaluer la faisabilité de l’essai

• Proposer un format qui correspond à la demande du client

• Organiser une communication régulière avec le client et les représentants de Cisbio pendant les différentes étapes du développement de l’essai.

• Former les clients à la fin du développement de l’essai si nécessaire

Key Competencies:

• Ingénieur - Bac+5 dans les sciences de la vie idéalement en immunologie, pharmacologie ou biologie cellulaire.

• 2 à 5 ans d’expériences en HTRF® acquis en biotech, entreprise pharmaceutique, ou laboratoire académique

• Compétences en management (savoir évaluer des ROI/marge sur un projet)

• Expérience clientèle souhaitée

• Déplacements en Europe : 20% du temps

Au sein du département « Life Science » et rattaché(e) à son Responsable, nous recherchons un(e) Consultant(e) Scientifique H / F

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

> Fournir un excellent niveau de support technique aux clients européens des produits HTRF (biotech, entreprises pharmaceutiques, CRO et laboratoires académiques) :

• Aider les clients à la mise en place des essais HTRF via un déplacement sur site ou par e-mail ou téléphone.

• Etre capable de diagnostiquer les problèmes lors de l’utilisation des produits HTRF via une visite sur site ou par e-mail ou téléphone.

• Démonstration et formation en clientèle des produits HTRF

• Se former régulièrement aux nouveaux produits/applications/techniques

> Fournir un support à la vente afin de développer les comptes, de comprendre et d’étudier les besoins des clients, de leur proposer les produits ou services adapter et d’aider les commerciaux à conclure les ventes.

• Travail en étroite collaboration avec les commerciaux Europe

• Présentations du portefeuille de produits Cisbio adaptées aux projets de recherches du client

• Promotion des produits HTRF et des solutions à façon

• Participation à des congrès scientifiques

> Fournir un retour d’informations clientèles aux différents départements.

• Qualifier et transférer les demandes de solutions à façon

Key Competencies:
