Joseph first joined Cisbio as COO in March 2015 before being appointed in June 2016 as CEO to lead the group’s efforts in becoming a first class partner for life science researchers.
Prior to this, Joseph held several leadership positions at BioMérieux, first as Head of the International Division, then as General Manager of the Belgium and Dutch subsidiaries, before taking the helm of the Global franchise for the Food Diagnostics Business, and finally shouldering the role of VP of Worldwide Commercial Operations of the Food and Pharma diagnostics business unit.
Joseph holds a Master’s degree in biomedical engineering as well as a Master’s degree in business administration for healthcare industries from the IGS Group, in Lyon.
CFO

Since taking its head in 2014, Pierre has deeply transformed the Finance department to reach the highest standards of reporting and develop business. As General Manager in charge of Finance and other support activities, he supervises accounting, controlling, and corporate reporting, and is responsible of purchasing, general overhead, security, and IT. Pierre further oversees risk management, taxes, grants, and legal affairs, as well as the company’s cash flow and investment plan.
Pierre is also CEO of Ze Lab, Cisbio’s incubator, where he helps other companies reach their full potential.
Before joining Cisbio, Pierre spent 12 years leading major business units as CFO of international companies such as Ipsen and Kerry. In these different roles, Pierre built on the experience he gained as a consultant for Price Waterhouse Coopers, where he first started to help industrial companies implement efficient financial organization.
Pierre holds a Master of Bank & Finance from Rouen Business School, completed by a management program at HEC Montreal.
VP Sales & Marketing

As VP of Sales & Marketing, Patrick leads Cisbio’s efforts to develop and commercialize new products and manages the Life Science business.
Patrick started his journey at Cisbio in the In Vitro Diagnostics department, where he developed many new products through antibody selection and business development deals. He then joined the HTRF activity in 2000, where he was instrumental to help move the products from prototypes to kits and complete product lines through innovation deals.
Patrick holds an engineering degree in Biotechnology from the University of Clermont-Ferrand (France).
VP Research & Development

Eric is VP of Research and Development, and leads product and technology innovations at Cisbio.
Eric has over 20 years of experience in R&D, in particular in managing research groups focused on innovative technologies applied to Life Sciences and in designing innovative assays. He was the driver behind the IP-One assay, a breakthrough solution for GPCRs, as well as the Tag-lite® technology, which was awarded the 2009 Innovation of the Year Award by Frost & Sullivan.
Eric acts as scientific expert in detection technologies for the National Research Agency and the Universities of Montpellier and of Marseille. He holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Nîmes/Montpellier.

Mireille supervises and helps optimize the different processes involved in bringing high-performing innovative products to market, from production and logistical matters to quality control. She always keeps an eye to both Cisbio’s partners’ current needs and Cisbio’s long-term capabilities when managing her team of talents.
Mireille has been a part of the Cisbio family since the 1980s, when she first started in the R&D department. As her experience and her practical knowledge of different technologies grew, she had the opportunity to take on more and more responsibilities, with an ever-stronger managerial role.
Initially qualified as a chemist, Mireille pursued training in Pharmacy to acquire expertise in biology.
Head of Business Strategy & Corporate Communications

After more than a decade in the marketing department for the HTRF business unit, François now coordinates Cisbio’s business strategy and corporate communications.
A scientist by training, Francois started his career in Cisbio’s R&D department where he was in charge of optimizing assays for the detection of new tumor markers, such as chromogranin A, a marker for neuroendocrine tumors. He joined the HTRF revolution at the end of the 1990s and held different jobs in the R&D department before moving on to sales and marketing. François oversaw Cisbio’s operational and strategic marketing, and communications until 2018.
François holds a joint engineering degree in Cellular and Molecular biology from Polytech (Clermont-Ferrand) and Salford University (UK). He furthered his education with several courses in marketing and communication, in particular the Strategic Marketing in Action program at Lausanne’s International Institute for Management Development (IMD).
Head of Global Marketing

In his current role as Head of Global Marketing, Nicolas is responsible for the company’s Life Sciences marketing activities. He oversees the development and execution of the fully integrated marketing strategy for this business.
Nicolas first joined Cisbio in 2007 as a scientific consultant. Since then, he has occupied different positions within the company, including Custom Laboratory Project Manager and Product manager.
Nicolas holds an M.L.A in management from Harvard University, an M.S.E in biomedical engineering from Oklahoma University, and an M.S.E in bioengineering from Polytech (Clermont-Ferrand). Nicolas was the 2018 Harvard Commencement speaker for the extension school, and is a recipient of the Harold Langlois and Dean’s List Academic Achievement awards.

With her team, Anne-Cécile tackles all of the duties connected to human resources, from administrative tasks to handling strategic cases. Their main mission is to assist each employee every step of their professional lives.
Anne-Cécile first started her career in a recruitment firm in Amsterdam then in Paris, before moving back to Nîmes, her hometown, where she joined an IT company to manage international human resources. She joined Cisbio in 2013, first as an HR specialist, before quickly moving on to become head of the department.
Anne-Cécile holds a Bachelor’s degree in European Business Administration from the University of Nottingham, and a Master's degree in HR Management from Essec/Isfogep Business School.
Head of IVD Business

Véronique leads the team that brings regulatory, marketing, and sales support to the IVD business unit. She helps make sure that Cisbio's biomarker IVD assays deliver the high-level quantification required and meet the expectations of the medical community.
Prior to joining Cisbio in 2001, Véronique held regulatory and marketing positions in the fields of diagnostics and medical devices at Biotest and Sanofi (Ela medical).
Véronique obtained a post-graduate degree (DEA) in microbiology from the University of Lyon, which she completed with a training in marketing from Essec Business School.
VP, Managing Director, Cisbio US

Glenn’s philosophy when he operates as Cisbio’s US Managing Director is the core of Cisbio’s strategy: to lead a team of highly talented individuals focused on building strong, enduring relationships. His goal is to create an atmosphere of trust, where all of his team members can contribute to Cisbio’s mission.
Prior to joining Cisbio in 2006, Glenn worked for 22 years at PerkinElmer (originally part of the NEN organization), filling many roles including Application Development, Marketing, Global Product Management, Sales, and Sales Management.
Glenn holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management with a minor in Biology from Bryant University.
Managing Director Asia-Pacific

Bing is Managing Director, Asia Pacific for Cisbio Bioassays since 2010. He was previously leading Cisbio US' Scientific Consulting Team when he joined the company in 2008. Prior to Cisbio, he worked at Helix Therapeutics as Director of Research and Development. In 2006, he joined PerkinElmer LAS as Technical Leader, focusing on the development of multiplexing platform in quantitative proteomics as well as the technologies in cell signaling and HTS. Before PE, he was Director of Biological Application at Agilix Corporation.
Bing received his Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from Yale University, School of Medicine in 2000. He then served as a postdoctoral associate in Department of Pathology, Yale University.
