Human Gastrin radioimmunoassay kit
The GASK-PR-US kit is a radioimmunoassay for human gastrin for the diagnosis and exploration of different gastric diseases.
Diagnose Zollinger-Ellison syndrome early
Diagnose gastrinoma with knowledge of patient’s basal and secretin-stimulated serum gastrin measurement
Investigate patients with antral G cell hyperplasia, vagotomy, atrophic gastritis
Investigate patients with Biermer’s anemia
- ACCURATE AND RELIABLE ASSAY
In the first step, gastrin contained in the samples and 125I-radiolabeled gastrin compete for a given limited number of anti-gastrin antibody sites. In the second step, the gastrin or 125I-radiolabeled gastrin antibody complex reacts with an anti-rabbit gammaglobulin and precipitates. The 125I-activity in the precipitate is measured.
Assay procedure: 2h at RT + 15 min at RT + 15 min centrifugation.
Working range: 10 – 1500 µU/mL (1 µU MRC 68/439 = 1.05 pg MRC 68/439)
Sample: serum or plasma – 100 µL
Analytical sensitivity: 10 µU/mL
