Also called IP-10 (interferon gamma-induced protein 10) or small-inducible cytokine B10, CXCL10 is a chemokine secreted by monocytes, fibroblasts and endothelial cells in response to IFN gamma.
CXCL10's main effect is to promote cell migration through Calcium signaling. Target cells include macrophages, T cells, NK cells and dendritic cells.
CXCL10 has significant anti-tumor effects as well as anti-angiogenic effects.
Cisbio's Human CXCL10 kit is a homogeneous, add and read assay to measure CXCL10 secretion in supernatant. It offers a fast, efficient alternative to ELISA.
