Scientific Consultant

Job summary:

We are looking for a field-based, passionate, Scientific Consultant who will partner with our Account Managers and customers to ensure their long-term technical success. The Scientific Consultant will ensure successful adoption and application of HTRF technologies, provide field based technical support through demonstrating HTRF products in the customer’s lab, present on-site HTRF seminars, perform on-site trouble shooting of HTRF assays, and work together with account managers on technical sales calls within a given geography. Working together, they will help develop new business from existing clients and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts. They will also liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams, ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions and optimize the entire customer experience. The ideal candidate will be able to identify customer needs and exceed client expectations. To provide our clients with the best solution, the Scientific Consultant should have prior experience with Drug Discovery/screening platforms, experience in assay development or high throughput screening and the ability to work on a variety of lab equipment.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site technical support to customers, helping them implement HTRF technology, migrate assays to HTS, troubleshoot HTRF assays & associated biology.
  • Provide technical support and training by phone and e-mail to customers for all HTRF products.
  • Provide technical expertise to support business development initiatives, including accompanying Account Managers to prospective customer accounts and providing technical presentations and demonstrations of HTRF technology.
  • Act as key liaison with Cisbio international Research and Development to support customer use and development of HTRF technologies.
  • Generate and maintain demonstration reports to provide a record of technical development work on behalf of customers.
  • Proactively share client needs and target based information within the organization by updating our CRM.
  • Participate in Marketing activities, trade shows, technical webinars, regional shows and quarterly product feedback forms.
  • Research and help qualify work plans for custom assay service proposals.

Key Competencies:

  • Experience in customer support and training.
  • Knowledge of theoretical and applied HTRF technology.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Drug Discovery workflows especially as related to Assay Development, High Throughput Screening and Lead Optimization techniques
  • Familiarity with Therapeutic Areas and their biology, process drivers and decision points.
  • Strong knowledge in both biochemical and cell based assays, as well as key drug target class biology.
  • Hands-on experience with HTRF and/or competitive assay platforms a plus.
  • Ability to think outside the box, to troubleshoot independently, and to get creative in assay approaches.
  • Timely reactivity.
  • Ability to identify and qualify opportunities.
  • Extensive travel in territory with occasional travel and attendance at industry relevant events.
  • Knowledge and experience with fluorescent plate readers.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Prism, and data analysis software.
  • SFDC Experience is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and team building skills.
  • Exceptional initiative and drive.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences or similar. Masters or Ph. D preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience in Assay Development or High Throughput Screening.
  • Ability to work in a home office environment.

The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of clients within a given geography, develop new business from existing clients and hunt new accounts and business opportunities. Assay Development Project Manager

Job summary:

Reporting to the Custom Solutions Manager, you will manage custom assay development projects and supervise Assay Development/ Custom Labeling Technicians to ensure the successful adoption and application of both proprietary and non-proprietary HTRF technologies. This position will interface heavily with customers and the field-based Scientific Team. With minimal supervision, you will utilize standard procedures along with own judgment.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define and develop custom assay proposals and pricing for sales opportunities and deliver written proposals for projects identified by the AM/FAS Team. You will be responsible for investigating and researching different approaches to assay development. Writing assay proposals and developing project reports to support assay development and custom labeling initiatives. You will manage these projects upon receipt of purchase order
  • Supervise the activities and technicians associated with the custom projects
  • Ensure open/frequent communication with customers related to each project
  • Provide chemistry expertise to customers, Field Application Scientifics and Custom Labeling Scientists for custom labeling activity
  • Contribute to the production of custom made-to-order products
  • Travel with AM/FAS teams to promote Custom Solution offers (assay development, custom labeling and profiling). Conduct seminars, webinars and customer training as needed
  • Provide HTRF assay development and custom labeling method training to existing and/or newly hired employees as needed
  • Interact with internal groups (Cisbio Research & Development, Custom Solutions in Europe and Marketing) to support customer use and development of HTRF technologies
  • Generate and maintain scientific documentation providing record of technical development work on behalf of customers

Key Competencies:

  • Experience in customer support and training.
  • Able to work in international/team environment.
  • In depth knowledge of theoretical and applied HTRF technology.
  • Knowledge of basic chemistry concepts and applications including molarity, Beer’s Law, Acid/Base chemistry.
  • Strong experience in assay development and HTS technologies preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences or Chemistry
  • 3+ years’ experience in application of Immunochemistry in Assay Development or High Throughput Screening
  • Knowledge of HTRF theory and applications
  • Experiences in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Graph Pad Prism

Scientific Marketing Junior Project Manager H/F (alternance)

Job summary:

Vous êtes rattaché(e) au pôle « Scientific & Digital Marketing » qui vise à déployer la stratégie marketing au niveau global.

Vous travaillez en étroite collaboration avec les Chefs de produits présents en local mais aussi à l’international (USA).

Vos missions vous amènent à collaborer étroitement avec les spécialistes de Cisbio : Graphiste, Webmaster, Hubspot expert, Lead specialist et également avec le Responsable des ventes Europe.

Votre fonction consiste à utiliser tous les moyens marketing pour, notamment, rechercher de nouveaux leads dans le but de les « nurturer » (e.g. faire « murir ») afin de les amener à un stade transférable à nos forces de ventes.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Elaborer et piloter des campagnes de promotion sur nos gammes de produits ou sur des applications particulières (aire thérapeutique d’intérêt).
  • Construire le plan marketing dédié :
    • Rédaction de contenus scientifiques adaptés et affûtés à destination de nos clients
    • Utilisation de l’outil de marketing automation (Hubspot) pour la recherche de nouveaux leads et déclinaison de vos campagnes
    • Développement de stratégie d’inbound marketing
    • Déploiement d’Emailing ciblés et de workflow d’emailing intelligent à partir de notre base qualifiée et des nouveaux prospects
    • Elaboration/analyse de campagnes google Adwords, linkedin paid..., utilisation des réseaux sociaux (Linkedin)
    • Mise en place de plans de nurturing et caractérisation de leads avant transfert aux forces de ventes via la mise en place de campagne de marketing automation (workflow, création email, landing page, messaging, post réseaux sociaux…)
    • Création d’outils promotionnels : print et digital (videos, banners...), achat de placement media
  •  Analyser le retour sur investissement de vos campagnes (établissement de KPI, metrics web analytics, Hubspot…)

Key Competencies:

  • Etudiant en niveau master avec double compétence Scientifique (Biologie/Biotechnologie) et Marketing
  • Bon niveau d’anglais indispensable
  • Goût prononcé pour les nouvelles technologies
  • Bonne maîtrise du pack Office
  • Notions sur la suite Adobe est un plus
