LAG3/MHCII binding assay - Technical Note

2017

The lymphocyte activation gene-3 (LAG-3), selectively transcribed in human activated T and NK cells, encodes a ligand for major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II molecules. When LAG3 is bound with MHC II, T cell response is suppressed. Checkpoint inhibitors blocking LAG3/MHC II complex formation are generating considerable interest in cancer immunotherapy.

The HTRF LAG3/MHC II Binding Assay is designed to measure the interaction between LAG3 and MHC II proteins. Utilizing HTRF (Homogeneous Time-resolved Fluorescence) technology, the assay enables simple and rapid characterization of compound and antibody blockers in a high throughput format.
