A broad spectrum of diseases or conditions can cause infertility or reproductive issues - as does aging.

A thorough diagnostic workup, usually including measurement of sexual hormone levels, is required in order to identify the underlying disease(s) or condition(s) and tailor appropriate treatments.

Human Growth Hormone (HGH, somatropin) is produced by the pituitary gland and stimulates cellular growth, reproduction and regeneration, mainly through the induction of Insulin-like Growth Factor-1 (IGF-1, somatomedin C) generation in the liver.
